Upscale: take any image to print resolution
March 2026·by Loumix Team·2 min read
Web-res images don’t print. Upscale turns 1K into a crisp 4K or 8K — enough DPI for fabric production.
Most generations land at 1024–2048px. That’s fine for digital, way too small for fabric production. Upscale takes any image — your patterns, your campaign shots, your sketches — and resamples it cleanly to 4K or 8K with detail intact.
How to use it
- 01
Upload the image
Any PNG or JPG works. Both flat patterns and photo content are supported.

- 02
Pick the target resolution
4K covers most print needs up to ~120 cm fabric width. 8K is for posters, large-format banners, or extra-wide fabric rolls.

- 03
Generate and download
The result is a single high-res file ready to drop into the Print-Ready Audit or send straight to your print partner.

Tips
- Re-run the Print-Ready Audit on the upscaled file — DPI usually goes from Fail to Pass.
- Upscale before any further editing. Cropping and re-saving low-res images compounds the loss.
